Scaredy Squirrel Wordle Assignment
We've been reading Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt in our focus to read like a writer. We have discussed some strategies that writers use to improve their word choice. Click on the comments to read our reviews of the book (from a writer's perspective).
After your review has been posted, create a Wordle about Scaredy Squirrel (use a ~ between words that you want to keep together in your wordle). When you are finished, post it to our wiki in the Fears and Phobias folder, on the Scraredy Squirrel page. Make sure you upload your wordle with your name in file name!!

Bracelet of Life
We've been learning about hunger and the kinds of challenges that countries are up against. We learned about the Bracelet of Life and how it helps Doctors Without Borders quickly assess children so those who need help the most get it the quickest. Check out our writing assignment where we imagine to be a child who is in the red zone and how this program assists us.
*After you've posted your RAFT, you can check out the Doctors Without Borders website and see what other kinds of assistance they provide.
