This movie was about how the world around us really is what it is. I am shocked that kids can carry 5-10 bricks at once on there head because I can barely carry 3 and that’s with my arms. I was shocked that they had to walk miles and miles just to get fresh and clean drinking water. I am shocked that some children had to fight in the war because they’re just children and some of them don’t even know how to use a gun. I am shocked that some children have to get married when they’re 13 because here (in Canada) people can get married whenever they want to.

  2. In class today we watched a video called Janes Practical Guide to Human Rights it was a sad video and other parts I was happy so let’s take a look.
The thing I’m wondering about is how a mom can let go of her child to go work or give her daughter away. I’m thinking about all the kids out in the world most of them have nowhere to go and none of there family to lean on.
I want to help just get up right now to help them because they don’t have same advantages as most of us. What I want to remember is how they are suffering so one day when I’m grown up I can go there and help them get on there feet.

  3. Jane’s Practical Guide To Human Rights

In the last couple of days our class has been watching the video Jane’s Practical Guide to Human Rights. It was about less fortune countries and how bad their lives are.

I was shocked when o heard that someone’s brother (or just a boy) get fed first and the most food, here everyone gets fed equally most of the time and boys and girls are treated fairly,

I was angry when we finished the movie because the kids in the movie don’t have necessities, but here we have like everything we want and more, some kids take the for granted and just want more.

I feel lucky because where we live and we aren’t as poor as them and there their lives are controlled by their parents and here ours aren’t.

  4. Jane’s Practical Guide to Human Rights
In class we have been watching Jane’s Practical Guide To Humans Rights. It’s about human rights that are in the world and they should followed.
Questions: Why do girls eat less? It’s because boy are more important and take care of the parents when there are older and Girls are expected to be married and to work in the house.
Why do some kids work at a young age? They work young because their parents are in debt, so they have to earn money to pay back their debt.
    SHOCKING!!!!
I was very shocked because children see one or more people MURDER. Think of that seeing a loved one killed that’s Horrible!!!
I was also shocked that a little 4 year old boy was working like 13 hours or son\mething outragous, Children if they have to work they should at least have a safe job, payed fairly and Not so many hours!!!
    Sympathy
I feel sympathy for the girl that had to raise her brothers because her parents died. They also had a business so she had to work on that while raising her younger siblings. Imagine that....!

  5. Jane’s Practical Guide to Human Rights
I watched Jane’s practical guide to human rights about rights of children and adults. How some countries break those rights.
It made me angry when it talked about the girls and there food proportions (how boys get more and girls eat the leftovers). I can’t imagine my two older brothers were fed before me and get way more food myself would be upset that my brothers were treated better.
I was surprised that because the guys got to go to school and get education while I would have to stay at home and make babies at a young age. I wouldn’t be able to read or write but, all my brothers would be able to be smarter. My brothers are teasing me at the moment because I’m only in middle school (which they call the little school) I am lucky that I’m even in school!
I was shocked that because of lack-of-nutrition people are short. I can’t imagine how short the people would look if my brother went there, he would look like a giant and I thought I was short.
